Langste condoom ter wereld, drie kilometer condooms in Boekarest.

Meer dan 1500 Roemenen hebben 25.700 condooms aan elkaar geknoopt voor een recordpoging. De stunt maakt deel uit van een campagne tegen aids.

De condooms vormen een lint van 3 kilometer lang door het centrum van Boekarest. "We zijn erg blij dat de mensen zo enthousiast hebben meegewerkt, ondanks de regen", verklaart een woordvoerder van de organisatie.

 

Bucharest hosts new Guinness record: the longest condom chain in the world
   
Romanian organization the PSI Foundation set up on Sunday the longest condoms chain in the world, which at 3,300 meters was registered as a new Guinness record. Through the initiative, the Foundation wants to gain the public attention upon the rapid spread of HIV Romanians.

On Sunday, starting with 12pm, on Bucharest's Unirii Boulevard, some 1500 youngsters, celebrities and active organizations fighting against the disease created the condom chain.
